No, I am too cheap but my local vault is backed up to my NAS allowing me to access notes on my phone.

You could back it up your local vault to a cloud provider, download the directory to your phone or tablet and access them via there app.

yeah, it only links to online images. you can import in workflowy, which is basically dynalist on steroids.. but the free tier is crap..

The main three benefits:

1. It's free -- and while you can pay for first party sync, there are free third party alternatives for that as well.
2. It's local and portable -- i.e. it's just a bunch of markdown files wherever you choose to save them. So you maintain data ownership and aren't vendor locked-in.
3. It's extensible -- at its core it's just no-frills, simple text editor, but has a whole plugin ecosystem to cater to very advanced setups. You only need to use to what makes sense for you.
