Help In Mobile App Development

Hello guys I hope you're all doing absolutely well and safe offcourse. Without wasting any time I need a professional's suggestion, Someone shared a mobile application with me which is available in codecanyon and the thing is he gave me all the licenses and guides. I am planning to upload it on google play store but am worried if the owner asked for a purchase code since I don't have it! is having all the rights and license enough or is it a must to have the purchase code, If possible can I edit the source code and upload it as well how to remove plagiarism and stuff like that by editing the source code? I hope my question is clear and hope to get some ideas.
